Milestone Sessions

Capturing milestones of your little one is so much fun. Are babies grow up so fast and we don't even realize until we think...."I have a teenager?". At least that's what I think. haha I offer 3-5 month belly sessions, 6-10 month sitter sessions and 1 year cake smash sessions. These are 45 min to an hour since they tend to get pretty tired after that. These are fun and just gives your little one time to observe and have fun. They are finally smiling!! I love getting them to smile and laugh at me being silly even though I might look a little silly. lol

If you are interested in a cake smash session for your babies birthday I like to schedule 2-3 weeks in advance. This gives us time to order a cake and discuss what type of colors/decor you would like. All flag banners, balloons and puffs can be coordinated to whichever colors you choose and I have lots of different flowers to decorate for little girls.  I absolutely love the simple boho style cake smashes. I feel it really puts your baby in the spotlight instead of using too much stuff that's too distracting.  If you see something you love on my site, just let me know and we can recreate it or use it for inspiration for your baby's session. If you have a certain theme in mind please contact me so we can discuss if it is something we can create. We do 20 min of portraits, 20 min of cake smashing and 20 min of tub and bubbles for these sessions.

‚Äč

I do all my milestone sessions at my studio located in Pantego/Arlington Tx. If you would like an outdoor session I do those as well! I know babies love to get out and explore the world, it's just sooo BIG:) If doing a studio session it includes 3 diffrent setups, 3 outfit changes and access to all my props, outfits ( 3 month to 12 month sizes), headbands and hats. These sessions do not include sibling photos or parent photos but may be added to the session for an additional fee.

Theo's Belly Session

Belly sessions are done at 3-4 months of age a lot of fun because your little one is finally learning to smile! We do 3 different set ups and outfit changes, your baby is on their back and tummies for these sessions. Theo was full of big smiles. I have plenty of outfits for you to choose from along with hats, props etc. What cutie this boy was and such a pleasure to have in the studio. Disclaimer: the photo of Theo setting is a composite shot done in photoshop and he was being supported by moms arm. In case you were wondering how a three month old was sitting on his own. lol

Kinsley's belly session

Baby Kinsley was 3 1/2 months old at here session and it was my second time photographing her since I did her newborn photos as well. See was able to hold her head up pretty well and was full of smiles. When we did her bucket photo she was still really wobbly so mom supported her the entire time and I edited her hand and arm out:) Safety is always my top priority. We did some shots on a beanbag, in the floor and a couple of props and they turned out adorable. By the end of the session we got one of her with her eyes shut! she was getting pretty sleepy at that point. But what a cutie!

Mateo's Belly Session

Little Mateo was 3 1/2 months old and still unable to sit on his own. I joked with mom that his facial expressions looked like he was posing for GQ magazine:) Even when your little one is not sitting unsupported we  get really cute photos of them in a bucket, bed etc as well as portrait shots of them on their back or belly. With this age I normally shoot around 30-45 min to get a full gallery and the rest of the time is so baby can take a break in between setups. It's a lot of work for babies to go through 3 outfit changes and getting there attention for photos and this is why I only shoot for this time. We don't want to overwhelm them because that's when they get upset:) This makes it fun and easier for babies and parents get photos they love at this fun stage when they are finally laughing and smiling a lot.

Samuel's Sitter Session

This little guy was a tone of fun at his session and mom and dad thought it was so funny that he was so interested in my camera. He was 6 almost 7 months old and such a cutie. We used The moss hanging garland, cream bucket with accents of burlap and wheat which I just love. He was very interested in the wheat and probably was wondering why it felt so funny. God job "Samurai"!!! (thats what mom and dad liked to call him, I love it!!

Addison's SitterSession

Oh my goodness, what a precious girl!! It was all glitz and glam for this 9 month old baby girl. We used Floral hoops, floral accented mason jars (which can be changed to your preference) and she looked gorgeous in the green set up! Although some of the outfits mom loved this little chunk wouldn't fit into haha. I just loved the neutral tones and color accents of this session. She was in a great mood and we got some great smiling photos of her. I'm sure she'll be walking very soon and can't wait to do her cake smash session!

Trevor's Sitter Session

This little guy was full of smiles!!! And those cheeks.... I just wanted to squeeze them:) His 3 year old brother Wyatt even stepped in for a couple of photos too! I think Trevors colors are definitely grey and navy blue. He was 6 months old and was just starting to scoot around the floor. He was getting around pretty good and did great in the basket and bowl props. I actually met this little cutie when he was 3 months during my Christmas Pj minis. I hope we get to do his cake smash when he turns one. This is such a great age because even when they're not looking right at the camera you can capture there curiosity of all the things happening around them. At this age they are natural models and don't even have to try:)

Ira's Sitter Session

Awwwwwww... This little cutie wanted nothing to do with me. LOL Fair enough, being in a new place with lights and a camera in your face might make anyone nervous. When you have a little one that is very shy, just know that it's ok and it's normal. Mom was able to set by her side the entire session as dad stood behind me so she knew he was still there. I could tell mom and dad were a little concerned that they weren't going to have but a few good ones. I assured them that would not be the case. When working with little ones its all about finding something they like or feel comfortable with. For this precious girl... a string of pearls. haha She absolutely loved playing and chewing on them and was fine as long as she had them and it made her much more comfortable. So if your worried how your little one might do, I assure we will get gorgeous photos you will LOVE and your little one will have fun!!!

Milk Bath Sessions

Milk baths for your little one are so much fun and they even get to have a little snack! When you book a full sitter session we can add this at the end of the session for some extra fun time. You can request oranges, lemons, strawberries and we even use fruit loops to add something fun:) These were done in the studio but can also be done outdoors! Whether your little one is a little unsure of the water or goes completely splash crazy, rest assured you going to get lots of fun shots with this type of shoot! The oldest kiddo was 17 months and still fit comfortable in this bath tub. That little girls curl I just can't get enough of, sooo stinking CUTE!!!

Luke's Cake Smash

Luke is one!!! We went with a nautical theme for this cake smash. This little guy was all over the place and had a great time. We had music, bubbles, balloons... what more could a baby ask for right!! His cake was so cute too. A lot of times babies don't want to get dirty and are not so sure about the cake at first, but not this guy!! I do a bubble bath at the end of the session so parents don't have to take home a sticky baby. Most babies I think have the most fun at this time getting to splash around:) Theses sessions are fun, relaxed and babies always have tons of fun. Disclaimer: They may be ready for a nap afterwards with all the excitement they are going to have!! LOL

Madelynn's Boho Cake Smash

Madelynn had a gorgeous boho themed cake smash and boy did she have fun!! I've never seen a baby girl smash a cake like she did. After she was done the whole half of the cake on her side was destroyed! Lol She wasn't interested in eating it though. This beautiful set up had the mossy garland with coral and cream flowers, teepee and cute little things to girl it up:) Just ask for the girl Boho teepee decor for this setup. This is one of my favorite setups for baby girls its beautiful and fun. I absolutely loved her cake and the strawberries on the inside were very tasty. Mom and dad let me have a slice after we were done:)

Cake smash setups

All of these setup can be altered to what you like. All balloons and floor puff colors can be changed to the colors you would like to accent with. Special themes can be requested and we will discuss if it's something I can accommodate. I love making new setups and will be adding new themes as we schedule them. The Wizard theme we also have a wizards robe, a wand and glasses for props:) When you book a premium package you can pick any theme and all and we will customize a setup just for your little one. Custom setups must be booked two weeks in advance to give time for styling your session.
